Hansika was born on 9th August in1991 to Sindhi-speaking Motwani family in Bombay, India. Her father, Pradeep,is a businessman and her mother, Mona, is a dermatologist. She has an older brother, Prashant. She is a student of Podar International School. Her parents divorced in 2004 but she continue to live in Andheri, Mumbai, India with her mother.
She is acted in many TV series like "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thee”, "Hum 2 Hai Na", "Desh Me Nikla Hoga Chand", "Shakalaka Boom Boom," "Celebrity Fame Guru Kool" and "Tum Bin" as child Artist. She also appeared as such in many TV commercials like Pepsi, Samsung, Hyundai Santro TV, Bournvita.
Her Mom's client, none other than Juhi Chawla, noticed Hansika and recommended that she act in films.seh was signed by for "Yahoo" with herself and Govinda. Unfortunately, this movie has been postponed.
This didn’t stopped Hansika from acting as she has now appeared in a total of 5 films Hindi and various regional language films (such as in Desamuduru Telugu, Sarvam in Tamil).
She is fluent in Hindi and Tulu. She deals with physical fitness and nutrition with Mickey Mehta. At age of 16 s he had three employees, and her mother, to manage her career.
