Tanushree comes from a conservative Hindu Bengali family.She completed schooling in Jamshedpur and did graduation from Pune University. She worked with Oracle Institute for 3 months in the management and marketing research and marketing information, including the ability to print campaign, ramp, Videos and ads.
This tall(5'7 ") and charming Tanushree Dutta,won Femina Miss India crown in the year 2004 in Mumbai and stood at the top ten in the Miss Universe pageant in 2004, Quito, Ecuador . The success eluded her as she not to manage last group of participants, she was not deterred by failures, but persisted and finally dark Tanushree not only for themselves for the competition,but was won Miss India, replacing Nikita Anand at Bandra Kurla on March 27, 2004 . she also won Miss Confidence and Miss Beautiful Smile .
